Japanese Holly

Ilex crenata Caroline Upright - Japanese Holly is compact, bushy, slow growing evergreen shrub with tiny oval shaped dark green leaves. Small white flowers in spring summer. Neat and upright making it ideal as a specimen in containers or in the ground. A male variety and a useful pollinator for female Japanese Holly varieties. A really good alternative to Box hedging. Full sun or part shade.  Any soil in sun or shade. Hardy. Ideal for topiary as can be kept trimmed in a shape of a ball or pyramid.  

Eventual height up to 2.5 metres with a spread of up to 1.5 metres.
