Sambucus Black Tower is a tall slender hardy deciduous shrub usually grown for its foliage opening green in spring gradually turning deep burgundy in bright full sun. Produces flat lightly fragrant small pink flowers in summer followed by fruits. Attractive to to birds and can be planted in full sun or part shade conditions. 

Eventual height up to 1.25 metres with a spread of up to 2.5 metres.

This is a deciduous shrub so it will lose all its leaves in autumn shooting fresh new growth in the spring
