Mahonia Winter Sun is an upright medium evergreen shrub with long prickly dark green leaves. Produces long clusters of upright fragrant bright yellow flowers in winter followed by blue-black berries. Hardy and tolerant of most soils. Can be planted in full shade or part shade conditions. 

Eventual height up to 2.5 to 4 metres with a spread of up to 1.5 to 2.5 metres.
