Cobnut Tree Webb's Prize
Deciduous, upright, tree or large shrub with broad green leaves in spring summer turning yellow in autumn. Produces showy yellow catkin flowers in spring followed by large clusters of sweet edible nuts in autumn. Has a vigorous growth habit. Growing at least two varieties together will ensure cross pollination. Cobnuts usually produce nuts after 3-4 years of growth and should be collected in late september when the husks turn yellow.
