Chaenomeles Nicoline is a small bushy deciduous shrub with spreading branches of oblong dark green leaves. Scarlet flowers in spring followed by edible green quince fruits fragrant and yellow when ripe. Hardy 

Eventual height and spread up to 1 - 1.5 metres.

This is a deciduous shrub so it will lose all its leaves in autumn shooting fresh new growth in the spring
