Acer palmatum Skeeter's Broom - Japanese Maple Skeeter's Broom is dwarf witches broom of Bloodgood. A narrow upright deciduous shrub with compressed stems of bright red leaves opening in spring. In summer leaves are deep purple red then turn ruby red in autumn before falling. Good for small gardens. Full sun or part shade. Shelter from cold winds.

Eventual height and spread of up to 1.5 to 2.5 metres.
