Styrax japonicus Evening Light - Japanese snowbell Evening Light is a large bushy upright shrub or small tree with slightly toothed glossy dark green leaves. The new leaves open deep purple in spring then become green but planted if in full sun keep a purple tint. Clusters of belled shaped white flowers with dark red calyces open in early summer on undersides of the branches. Full sun or part shade. 

Eventual height and spread up to 2.5 to 4 metres.
