Persian Ironwood 

Parrotia Persian Spire is a narrow upright deciduous tree with all year round interest. The very attractive ovate leaves open a rich purple colour in spring then turn dark green with purple edges in summer. In autumn the leave become rich yellow orange and red before falling then showing grey fawn bark. Tiny red flowers in late winter and early spring before leaves appear. Good for planting in pots. Can be planted in full sun or part shade. 

Eventual height up to 3 metres with a spread of up to 1 metre
