Parrotia Bella is an attractive spreading small deciduous tree or large shrub often with multi stems. Small red flowers open on bare stems in late winter or early spring before leaves appear. In autumn the ovate glossy green leaves turn yellow, red and purple before falling. Peeling bark is shades of brown and grey in winter giving all year round interest. Can be planted in full sun or part shade.
