Magnolia Black Beauty is a deciduous tree with extremely dark purple upright cup shaped flowers in late spring. As the showy flowers open the insides are white giving a striking contrast with the dark purple. The leaves are green. Originates from the Brooklyn Botanic gardens breeding program. 

Eventual height up to 5 to 8 metres.
