Magnolia grandiflora is a dense, evergreen shrub with ovate, leathery, dark green leaves. Produces large cup-shaped, fragrant creamy white flowers from summer to autumn. Tolerant of heavy clay soils. Benefits from sheltered site. 

Eventual height up to 8 metres with a spread of up to 4 metres.
