Leycesteria Formosa is an upright, thicket-forming, deciduous shrub with ovate dark green leaves. Produces white flowers from early summer followed by dark red berries. Hardy. 

Eventual height and spread up to 2 metres.

This is a deciduous shrub so it will lose all its leaves in autumn shooting fresh new growth in the spring
