Silk tassel bush

Garrya elliptica is a large evergreen shrub or small tree with a vigorous bushy growth habit. Oval to roundish shinny dark green leaves with grey felted undersides. Long grey green male catkin flowers usually in January and February. Can be planted in full sun or part shade. 

Eventual height and spread up to 2.5 to 4 metres
