Chinese Dogwood

Cornus kousa chinensis is a free flowering deciduous shrub or small tree with long pointed wavy green leaves opening in spring. In autumn leaves turn crimson purple giving good autumn colour. Clusters of small green flower heads in summer surrounded by four large oval creamy white bracts.  Flowers are followed by strawberry like deep pink fruits. Can be planted in full sun or part shade conditions.  

Eventual height and spread up to 4 to 8 metres.
