Cercis Forest Pansy - Eastern redbud Forest Pansy is a large deciduous shrub or small tree with heart shaped leaves opening deep purple in spring. Turning shades of orange bronze red and purple in autumn giving good colour. Small bright pink flowers open on bare branches before leaves open in spring. Grown mostly for its foliage. Full sun or part shade. 

Eventual height 4 to 8 metres over 10 to 20 years. 

This is a deciduous shrub / tree so it will lose all its leaves in autumn shooting fresh new growth in the spring
