Also called Betula pendula Laciniata - Swedish Birch
Betula Dalecarlica is a slender medium sized weeping deciduous tree open in habit. Deeply serrated leaves open dark green in spring turning yellow in autumn before falling. Attractive peeling white bark becomes black and rugged over time at the base. Brown catkin flowers in spring summer. Can be planted in full sun or part shade conditions.
Eventual height up to 12 metres plus 20 to 50 years.
