Arbutus unedo rubra is a slow growing lime tolerant evergreen shrub or small tree with glossy green leaves. It is a selected form of Arbutus unedo with pink tinged flowers produced at the same time the previous seasons fruit are turning red. 

Eventual height and spread up to 4 to 8 metres over 20 to 50 years.
