Norway Maple

Acer platanoides Drummondii is a slightly smaller form with pale green leaves edged in creamy white. This variety sometimes reverts to green shoots. It is important to remove these shoots to prevent them taking over from the pretty variegated leaves. During autumn the leaves turn orange giving spectacular colour before falling. Will grow well on most types of soil in full sun or part shade conditions.
