Acer palmatum Summer Gold - Japanese Maple Summer Gold is a slow growing, upright deciduous tree with a rounded crown of lobed leaves opening pink in spring. Then in summer the leaves become lime green to yellow edged with red before finally turning golden yellow orange red shades in autumn. Tiny inconspicuous green flowers in spring followed by winged red fruits above the leaves in autumn. Suitable for small gardens and patio pots. Part shade or dappled shade. Protect from frosts if in a pot and keep away from hot full sun.

Eventual height and spread of up to 1.5 to 2.5 metres.
